Friendship Senior Options is committed to serving the needs of older adults now and in the future by delivering innovative services, residences and programs. Many times, to accomplish this mission, we call upon the generosity of our residents, their families, surrounding community businesses and local organizations.
The Friendship Senior Options Foundation was established to foster an environment of philanthropic giving in order to enrich the lives of the seniors in the area. The Foundation is built upon three pillars that drive our mission: Benevolence, Education & the Arts, and Capital Improvements.
Our communities promise every resident a lifetime plan for care – a place to live and access to the services they need for as long as they live within our communities. We quietly support residents who have outlived their resources. The Foundation also assists the associates who serve our residents that may be experiencing extreme financial hardships. Our commitment to Benevolence stems from our core value of friendship and our dedication to treating others with dignity, respect and kindness.
Just because we get older doesn’t mean we lose the curiosity to learn new things. The Foundation funds a variety of educational opportunities within our communities for both residents and associates. From musical performances to continuing education classes, spiritual programs to training sessions, the foundation encourages everyone to never stop learning.
Our communities are the heart of our organization. They are where our residents call home and our associates make a difference. Recognizing the significance of the physical surroundings, gifts to the Foundation also help to repair, maintain and improve our communities. Campus beautification opportunities, environmental projects and building enhancements are just some of the ways the Foundation has helped to create a better lifestyle for our residents.
